Allah mentions Zakat alongside salah throughout the Qur’an, reminding us that it is one of the foundations of a Muslim’s life.

Zakat purifies our wealth, strengthens our communities and provides for those who have a right to receive it. It is an act of worship before it is an act of charity.
Behind every Zakat payment is a person facing genuine hardship: a widow trying to provide for her children, an orphan who needs care and protection, a family displaced by conflict, a patient waiting for treatment, or someone who has nowhere else to turn.

Our commitment to responsible Zakat delivery
One Day For Them is a new campaign concept. We will not claim a history, partnership or delivery record that we cannot prove. Before launch, the legal organisation must publish its Zakat policy, eligibility checks, delivery partners, separate accounting arrangements and verified impact reports.
Needs differ from one family to another. Support should therefore be distributed according to the organisation’s verified Zakat policy and Islamic guidance, reaching eligible beneficiaries in the form that helps them most.
100% Zakat. 100% accountability.
Zakat is an amanah. It deserves complete care, accountability and transparency.
If the final organisation adopts a 100% Zakat policy, it must explain exactly what that means: how Zakat funds are separated, which costs are covered elsewhere, how recipients are assessed and how delivery is recorded. It must never be mixed with other funds or redirected outside the rules of Zakat.

Trust is built through transparency. We intend to document and share verified Zakat distributions through field updates, photos or videos only where consent and safety allow. From food distributions and cash assistance to medical support, clean water and emergency relief, updates should show the programme without exposing families.
Every update can be a reminder that your obligation has become someone else’s relief.
